Youth Programs

Youth Programs are primarily aligned with the school district. Examples include a summer after-school program, a Middle School Drama club, Responsible Rider recognition events, and Arcade and Game room open hours 

Provide Intern opportunities, volunteer service hours for NHS students, and donations to school clubs based on volunteer hours.

Hosted a 2020 New Year’s Eve event for high schoolers. Partnered with FFA to create the community garden and the Green Thumb children’s gardening club. Provided space and support for student movie filming location and premier.

Current events include:

  • The 3rd Annual Kickball Tournament for fifth-eighth graders, staffed by local business leaders, law enforcement and village officials will be held on July 23 at Mitchell Field. Details will be announced on our Facebook page. Free T-shirt’s, snacks, and raffle prizes
  • Arcade and game room arcade games, pool table, air hockey, ping pong, Lego’s, and board games.
  • Parents Night Out. Fall 2024 dates to be announced.
  • Story Corps’ program in which young adults interview senior citizens and preserve the historical record of life experience in the Library of Congress. Contact us for more information.
